On March 26, 2017, Editor-in-Chief (expanded) meeting of the Journal of Cryptologic Research was held in Beijing. Chinese Association for Cryptologic Research (CACR) hosted the meeting, and the Editorial Department of the journal was responsible for the organization.

Editor-in-Chief, Executive Editor-in-Chief, 3 Associate Editor-in-Chiefs, and 17 members of the Editorial Board attended the meeting. YU Yan-Ping, Secretary General of CACR, was present at the meeting. OUYANG Yong-Gui, director of Editorial Board, reported the journal’s establishment and development of year 2016 and the following working plans. Members of Editorial Board complimented the achievement of the journal, vigorously discussed the issues such as column design, improvement of abstract, increasing the quantity and elevating the quality of published papers, choosing the Latex template, and best papers award, contributing the suggestions and guidelines for further development of the journal.
