On March 19, 2016, Second Editorial Board meeting of the Journal of Cryptologic Research was held in Beijing Railway Hotel. Chinese Association for Cryptologic Research (CACR) hosted the meeting, and the Editorial Department of the journal was responsible for the organization. Main issues of the meeting are election of the Second Editorial Board, journal report, and the discussion on further development of the journal.

YU Yan-Ping, Secretary General of CACR, and PEI Ding-Yi, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, handed out the certificate for the members of Editorial Board. Five academicians, our prestigious members of Editorial Board, attended the meeting. OUYANG Yong-Gui, director of Editorial Board, reported the journal’s establishment and development of past two years. Members of Editorial Board discussed enthusiastically, complimented the achievement of the journal, and contributed the suggestions and guidelines for further development of the journal.

Two special reports were invited: How to Attract Attentions of Citation Database for Journals by XIE Xiao-Lin from Elsevier; Keep Innovating to Build Vigorous Academic Journal by CAI Fei from Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, providing thoughtful experiences for the development of the journal.
